What’s striking isn’t the tools themselves, but how quickly “free productivity” becomes invisible labor.

Most of these tools compress execution time, not decision time. Without an explicit strategy for where the saved hours go, productivity gains tend to get absorbed by more inputs, more requests, more noise.

The real leverage isn’t discovering better tools — it’s deciding which outputs deserve acceleration, and which shouldn’t be produced at all.
